Installed GM replacement Monsoon door speakers !!!

THEY SOUND AMAZING !!!! No more crackling and wow, does the factory system ever sound nice !!

Now my door speaker grills rattle a bit. any known fixes or ideas? does the cover come off? how?

How much did you have to pay ? Mine were about $75.00 for the up-grade speakers as apposed to $45.00 for the old paper ones .

Im in canada list was $137 i paid $92 each. Not sure if theyre paper or not they have that cover on them I should have just looked at the back. he said it just listed 1 speaker so im hoping these are the upgraded ones.

Just use a little caulk. Try to squeeze it where the grille meets the door panel. Just use a damp sponge to wipe off the excess so you don't see it.

Just what I was thinking. How do they come off? looks like the sides are tabs but the top and bottom look like theyre going to break...

Hey my speakers are sounding all crackly and I have the monsoon system as well.. I'm still fairly new to ls1 and even fairly new to owning my own car lol but how did u go about buying and replacing the factory speakers? Sorry if this is throwing ur thread off but I deff want to replace mine soon!

I just picked up mine liek 4 weeks ago as well. Beat around the bush about replacements and didnt have a clue about the gm ones. Just go to the dealer and ask them the part #s are in the computer and my local (canada) warehouse showed like 400 in stock.

Local GM dealer wants $180 per speaker. OK GM dealers in WI are thieves.
Please advise what part # the dealer name that you bought the speakers through.

I learned when I had my Goldwing and 87 Formula to go to ebay. No use to pay a high price so a dealer can have a nice store front on main street. It will be delivered to your front door.
