i pod question

This might be a dumb question but I'm a little new to all this modern electronic stuff. I just bought an 02 Z06 that has had a lot of mods done to it. This is what I have.Pioneer DEH-P6800MP stereo w/ 8gig Ipod nano
JL Audio 250/1 Amp
JL Audio Stealthbox
Garmin Nuvi 200
It sure sounds good compared to what I'm use to.
My question is can I hook that i pod up to my computer with out losing its info and be able to add and delete songs/groups ?

I think you can only add and delete songs on the computer its synced to

You need to download iTunes and install software, hopefully they gave the USB cord to hook it up to your computer. If you only want to add 1 song at a time, make sure you turn off the sync ipod option, change it to manual when installing. You might lose it the first time you plug it in, because it was synced to someone elses computer. As soon as you get it hooked up, see if it will allow you to drag and drop songs (Obviously after you have imported music to the library). If it doesn't, click on the name of the iPod on the left hand, scroll through the tabs and find the option that say "Sync music" and change it manual. If you can do either of these and you want to keep all the info on it, then you can right click the name, which is left hand side, and just change then name only and add music as you go. If it doesn't allow you to do anything, you'll have choose the restore option and start from scratch.
