I Am So Amp'd!!!!
HELLO ALL!!!! I am friggin hyped right now! I just purchased my upgraded stereo sys to include the following:
-Panasonic head unit: cq-c8303u w/ triple RCA preouts
-Pioneer 6.5's -ts-d161r (260watt) for doors and sails
-2x 12" kicker compvr subs
-powered by kicker zx400.1 amp- class d
The subs are going to be housed in mdf boxes with fiberglass panel overlays and replace the hatch spkr/panels so that I can:
1. still see out the rear hatch
2. still have use of the t-top storage
My plan is to run the doors and sails from the HU, run the the sub preouts to the mono amp then to the 12's directly behind the backseat. I have already fabricated an I'Pod dock from aluminum as I plan to have no CD's in my car.
If anyone has any tips, advise or general information on this lovely job of wiring this whole system (particularly in running the wires!), I will gladly listen.

I would definately think about gettin an amp for ur rev's... at least a 2 channel for the doors. They will really sound sweet on an amp. Otherwise looks pretty spiffy!

Looking forward to seeing the pics! I plan on getting rid of the factory speakers in my door panels and replacing them with my MB Quart Reference Series speakers.
