How much power from the stock monsoon head unit

Hello, does anyone know how many watts the stock monsoon head unit puts out, I am not talking about the crappy amp that is in the back of the car, I am talking about how much power the head unit sends to the front speakers. would it power a set of rockford 6.5s as well as an aftermarket head unit? I would PREFER TO KEEP the stock head unit and just run new wires to the speakers I am installing. My stock monsoon system was cabbaged by the previous owner so I have bought 4 rockford punch 6.5s 2 for the door and 2 for the sail. Will the stock head unit power these as well as a 200 watt type deck. I know that alot of 200 watt decks only put between 17-24 watts out according to the boxes. I may hook an amp to the rears. Appreciate the help

Not sure on the power output of the head unit but I do know it can be setup to support 4 ohm door speakers as I have done with mine.

Doesn't require any "setting up".. the stock HU is just an ordinary Delco HU -- nothing special about it -- same thing in Monsoon and non-Monsoon systems.

    Probably 15-18wRMS?

Power differences are so minimal in most HUs that you won't notice a thing... (usually a difference of around 1.5 dB at most) the stock deck is however the weakest point in our system due to the distortion it produces... so the power you get from it will not be nearly as clean as a better aftermarket deck. So even though the power output doesn't matter much....the clarity will limit that, though.

Thats what I am running in to when I turn up the volume the louder they get the worst sounding they get, guess I will stick with an aftermarket HU.
