How to connect kenwood cd changer to pioneer head unit...
I have two Kenwood disk changers and would like to use at least one of them with my Pioneer head unit. Technically it will connect to a Sirius Sat.system, but the connection is the same. Is there a cord that I can buy to go from the Kenwood to the Pioneer? Or am I SOL. I searched the internet and can't find anything like it.
Any help?

If the Kenwood was an FM modulated module, it will work. Signal simply runs through the radio antenna, and has a seperate screen to controll the cd changer.
If you are trying to get the Pioneer to control the Kenwood cd changer, then you might as well just stop. It is not going to work. Pioneer uses a P-Bus system for its external devices it controls. You will need a Pioneer cd changer for this.

There is no industry standard for CD changer digital protocol. That is why you cannot mix and match HU's and changers together. Unless you use the above mentioned FM modulator which in my book is NOT recommended.

Damn that sucks !! Anyone want to buy two barely used changers? One is off my old car, the other my new one.
