Connect your speakers to the wires that were connected to the factory tweeters. This is a full range signal. The wires that go to the factory mid-woofers are low passed by the POS Monsoon amp so your new speakers won't produce any highs if you use these wires.

Someone has already posted the process on another board. Check out the following link to LS1tech.com. Includes a step by step install of these exact speakers.

Links to color pics start on page 7 of the thread. You can see some of my posts at the end where I had questions about which colored factory wire went where. Good luck.

lol, what I did was just PM the exact same link. I didn't post it, because most forums get upset when you link another forum.

i tried hooking up my infinity 2-way speaker to the tweeters wire and wasn't impressed so i connected the tweeter wire to the tweeter and the monsoon amp wire to the 6.5". Sounds good to me. Man do the stock speakers suck...

I wish that thread was sticky somewhere, because it doesn't come up in a search anymore. The only reason I could find it was because I had posted on it, and was able look at the "all posts by user" function.

Correct, there needs to be a sticky on some of these common questions. I get 3 or 4 PM's a week asking how to connect the Infinity 62.7i's. Doesn't bother me to help, but would make it easier on people. I never tell anyone how to do anything unless I have done it myself, cause I can't be sure the info I heard is correct. A lot of people mix up the Camaro and T/A front speaker wiring and think when someone with a Camaro posts and gets answers it works just as good in the T/A, but the T/A has a different setup. For instance I always post about the 62.7i's, but don't post about front speaker replacements when they have a T/A, because I feel a real set of infinity 2ohm components would do a better job in the T/A application, but since I haven't tried them, I just don't give my advise that could be bad.
