How can you tell if you have a monsoon stereo?

How can you tell if a Trans Am has a monsoon stereo? Did those only come in the WS6? And is the monsoon that much better than the standard stereo?

It says "Monsoon" on the head unit. And yes, much better than the non-Monsoon, but there are a lot of people who will say any stock stereo is junk. Personally, I like how the Monsoon in my car has the 7-band EQ right there, no sub menus to access. Also has fader, balance, tuning, and large buttons for the CD. I like the ease of use on the HU. since I added 2 12" subs with their own amp, plenty loud and clear for me. Still have the stock speakers except the subs are replaced.

where in tx are ya?? I was very disappointed with the monsoon in mine... It will say monsoon on it and have the equalizer on it.

I'm in fort worth. I'm getting ready to buy a trans am this summer so I'm just trying to figure out what things are really worth it and what is not. I mainly want decently low miles, raim air hood (preferably an actual WS6) and a 6-speed. The rest is just secondary...
