    Help!

    okay I just recently changed the alternator on my Z28, its was my first time doing something mechanichal ever. Now a week later the battery meter on the dash is on full blast, its on 18 on the red part. It happend today when i popped the hood to clean the in engine I grabed the water hose and sprayed everything inside the hood. I would like anysort of help Thanks...

    There's your problem right there. Fried the voltage regulator for sure.

    Take it off and try and return it. Just tell them they gave you a bad one and hope for the best.

    Otherwise, your out the cost of a new one.

    Next time when you clean the engine bay, cover ALL eletrical components with a plastic bag or tin foil, and never spray water directly at them.
