HD Radio???
Does anyone have it in their fbody? I have absolutely no experience with it. It would require a new hd compatible reciever and converter box right? Can you still recieve regular analog/ non hd stations? Any helpful pros/cons/comments?

i do not have one but a friend does and he states that you get all the normal radio stations pluse the hd stations and some normal radio stations also broadcast in hd so you will recive it in hd over analog. he has a add on instead of the head unit one so he says that you just connect a y connector to you atanna wire and the power wires and your done ... the add one transmits the signal from the decoder to the radio via fm signal so that might be why the y connector on the antenna wire... hey u dont have to pay montly charges for hd radio so if ur planning on getting a new head unit and u have the opt. to get hd built into the head unit i say go for it u got nothing to loose

You can also add hd to your factory radio. 250.00 for the box.

yeah but some stations have mutiple channels . . i know a local station adverstises it has 2 channels; the main hd one and an addition hd channel, but they are both the same "station", 99.5 mhz. so how would the stock reciever interpret this?

unless you live in the metro area of where the radio stations are broadcast, atleast in my experience, hd radio sucks! i can hardly ever pick up any stations unless im actually in San Francisco, and then it is actually amazing sound quality, sounds like a cd. outside of that, nothin too special until the reception improves
