Have to replace Interior Speakers Monsoon!?
I was told that if I want t get an indash dvd player or even just a regular CD player to replace my stock radio I have to replace all of my interior speakers because I have Monsoon.
Is this true?
My stock 12-disc changer isn't working anymore so I have to get something else

I think you're referring to some kind of urban legend. I was told a similar story from some kids at best buy. I went ahead and just installed my pioneer dvd/touchscreen, everything's fine.
I think you only have to worry about the speakers when you replace the monsoon amp with aftermarket, because all the speakers don't have the same impedance.
