Ground Wires
I think I have a bad ground connection because it sounds like I have electrical interference coming through the radio from my plug wires.
Under acceleration I start to hear a strange noise that sounds like a spark or a short and it sounds like it is coming through the head unit. It happens when the radio is off though as well.
I am really puzzled on this sound but I think this may be the solution. Where are the ground wires located and is there a way to test to interference?Last edited by jetaws6; 03-02-2011 at 06:57 AM.

1998 stock monsoon unit and msd super conductor wires into (i think) ngkt55 plugs. Plugs and wires are pretty new probably on 300 mi and the noise started happing shortly after they went in.
