got the headunit in, on my way to finishing system

Got the JVC AVX1 headunit with the 3.5" screen, installed my HU mount and hooked up my XBOX to the system, i still have to build my stealth enclosure and hook up my amp but so far the system is looking good.

It is and off centered on the screen. the avx2 is 3.5 and centered plus 5.1 decoder built in.

yeah its 3" and the avx2 is 3.5, same height as this one but a little wider, i was originially going to go with the x2 but it would have cost 200 more than the one i got although it does have some pretty sweet extras, like an SD card slot, bigger screen etc. But for me this one was good enough and its not my DD this is my weekend fun car.

ebay has them brand new from 300-350 or so, in that pic i was just testing it so i ran an extension from the garage but i bought a car adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter to power it, i really dont expect to be using hardly ever, i just thought it would be sweet and i wasnt using the xbox anyways.

would those adapters suck a TON of power from the battery? (if the car was off)

do you know if you could buy that headunit in a store? (i just dont like the idea of buying this off the internet.)
    thanks

going to a store would be about 100 to 200 more. you would be better off buying it off from ebay. All my audio stuff has come off ebay. never regretted any of it.

yeah just check feedback, DONT do any money orders or western union etc eithor paypal or CC thats the best way to get your money back if you get screwed, plus check them and see if they have a warranty, a lot of companies will do a 3mon to 1 year warranty. If the car was off the xbox would suck the battery a lot quicker than normal.
