    good news/bad news

good news: i've been looking at getting new 6.5s for the front, and popped off my covers today to see what the stock speaks looked like, and turns out i have rockford componets up there! who knew?

bad news: i got to thinking, why does my system still seem weak then? and i checked my other speaks and the ones that are right behind the driver/passenger seat aren't working at all! i have an aftermarket deck, so maybe the didn't get hooked up right? where is the first place to check and please keep in mind i'm a stereo nOOb!

are your settings right on the deck? maybe you had the fader turned all the way up to the front... if it isn't then you'll have to pull the speakers out to see if the wires are connected. if it's connected there, then check the wiring behind the deck.
as for the tweeters, are the rockford tweeters? or still the factory? maybe the tweeters aren't hooked up or the person just replaced them w/ coax speakers instead of components.
