Those are just the bulb conversions, he's talking about replacing the entire foglight...

Ha! Been there and done that! My conversion was a little more involved, but I replaced my stockers with a set of Hella Micro De driving lights, and then replaced the bulbs with a set of 10000K HID conversion bulbs. Looks AWSOME!

    BlacKMagicK:

I'm not sure. With the 'maros, you just need to replace the bulbs. I believe with the Firebirds, you need to replace then entire bulb housing. But I have seen the modification done somewhere on this forum.

Sorry, hadn't clicked on the link...me car is right on the home page. THX!!!

    Cobrahunter,

Yea, I would need the whole lens, a bit more involved installation I would think also.
Only thing is....can I get the low and the high beams, might as well do it all at once.

You guys check out the customer rides, look at how dingy yellow the stock lights are and the fogs too.

Yours are 10000k Cobra? I thought the 12000k was the only one with a purple hue???

Actually, the 12000Ks (I've seen) are usually advertised as "deep bluish violet", and actually look so.

The 10000Ks have more of a "true" deep blue look to them. And then there's the 8000K setup that that is a bit brighter, but has a less blue light output. I liked the look of the 10000K kit.

the really white ones and the ones the light up the best are 4300.
going higher will have quite a blue tint, such as the 6000... over that, it's quite purple and approaching black light passed the 10k.
i prefer lighting things properly and taking the best profit of light... hence... have all 3 in 4300 (fog, low, high)

Cobrahunter, Sorry for the highjack, but what brand of exhaust tips are on your Camaro and also do you have much trouble being lowered and also having the Wings West kit on. Thanks!

Regarding the exhaust tips, I don't remember what brand they are; got them about 5 years ago at the same time I got my new exhaust. I wanted dual tips to fill the opening in the rear valence, and they looked good.

As for the kit, the only issue I have is when going up or down steep driveways. I need to take them at an angle, that's all. Oh, also, I am really careful when parking against tall parking blocks or against a high curb. Other than that, it's really not an issue for me.

Cobrahunter, Thanks, Im installing my Strano Springs and Koni sa's this week (rears are already on and Im waiting on the panhard to get here). I really like the ground effects on Camaros. I think I will add them on mine in a few months. Thanks again!
