Finally bought a new stereo!

been shopping around like crazy for the best prices on everything, and I finally bought a new Alpine CDA-9884 CD player with an Ipod connector. I also bought the PAC module that allows the steering wheel buttons to work, and I bought a head unit mount from Maptech enterprises. I just ordered all of it today, and I got deals on everything but the head unit mount, which is fine, since it's custom. Here's how much money I was able to save-

Alpine HU- I paid $140 shipped, when Best Buy sells them for $200
Ipod wire- I paid $19 shipped, when Best Buy sells them for $30
Steering wheel control module- I paid $45 when it's normally $80
Head Unit Mount- I paid $97 shipped with Red LED's and Camaro SS on it.

altogether I spent $301 for everything. Not too bad I don't think. here's some pics of what I got:

hasn't arrived yet! I bought all it online today. should have it all in in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure I'll have some pictures up as soon as possible.

It'll be a great setup. I have the 9887 and love it. The CD player alone, without an amp, puts out great sound. The way the Ipod is setup is really cool too. Good choice!

Dang, I should've looked online. I bought the 9883 on Sunday for $160. Already installed and it does sound a lot better than factory.

I will be looking online to get the iPod and steering wheel control adapters.
