    Errrrr

    Could not think of where to post this... but I am trying to find a good set of speakers for an apartment... no they dont need to be practical... and no i dont want to hear oh thats over kill... because i plan on keeping these for awhile... i have a pioneer elite audio receiver that these will go through and i dont know jack squat about speakers... im looking at a brand... bw i think those look good...
    but i am no expert i been shopping craigslist seems like a decent set of those goes for around 1000 around here give or take... help? id like to stay around 1000 for a used set

    Onkyo still makes some wonderful speakers. Problem is most manufactuers just make crap these days in terms of full sound and long lasting. Not to mention almost no one is making speakers that can be repaired anymore.

    a fan of polk, before moving production from u.s. have one set almost 20 years old as rear surround channels with another set 10 years old as main channels. All sound and look like new!

    dont know if you are still looking or not, but ive got a surround sound system ive been trying to get rid of to start over
    consist of all Boston Acoustics speakers
    center channel VRC
    fronts VR1
    surrounds are CR55
    also have a Velodyne 3750R sub
