I've done a search, but still can't find the answer I need. It's a monsoon in a 2000 ws6. Yesterday my cd player decided to only play the discs it likes...
Some are cd-r, some store bought, but all are in about the same shape... I'm about to pull out my f#@*ing hair. I called the dealership, but they couldn't tell me what the "E20" code was.


Any help??? Please!!!

E20 : Focus Error Cause(s): The CD player cannot focus on the disc or there is an internal focus problem. Correction(s): Try cleaning the disc or using a new disc. Make sure the disc is loaded correctly. The road could be too rough or there is too much humidity. If the problem is not corrected, service the unit at an ACDelco® Service Center.
Basically what there saying is the factory laser in the radio is a peice of junk and cant read half of the cd's (cd-r,cd-rw,mp3,wma,aac) which is why i replaced mine

Thanks for all the help. I think the funniest thing is that, one of the CD's it won't play is my lens cleaner...

Also it seems to like cdr's rather than store bought...

yeah the factory radios arent the best in my opioion.. Thats why mine collects dust in the closet
