The lights that illuminate it are pretty common. The lights for the systems (oil, temp, traction, etc) are all LEDs

Yeah, I think they come in blue and in red. Don't remember which bulb fit it was.

I did blue bulbs on my 02 Z28 and was too dark and blue Led's were bright in areas and darker and looked like crap(I did make them work with silicone and GEL covers cut and placed in certain areas. I am probably one of the few that did the blue LED's and they were actually even and looked like stock, but then after a few months I would get random flicker of the bulbs and just started becoming a pain.
The red bulbs would be real dark mixed with the stock bluish green guages.
With smaller bulbs so many are the same with a different part #'s for the same bulb.
I ended up doing the glow guages and happy with them.
Here is a listing of bulb #'s from Sylvania for a 98 Camaro

Led's were ok for awhile, but they became a pain and never looked perfect. Even after alot of work and cost. I did do a write up awhile back before the site restructured and was the best results I have seen with Led's. I used blue GEL bulb covers that you can buy at autozone and used silcone to attach them to certain bulbs to direct the light correctly to not get super bright and dark spots. It worked, then 1 bulb would work part time, etc etc....just was alot of times taking out the dash and finally was tired of it. I looked for the closest to stock reverse glow gauges and I have been happy with the results.

As an aside to this, be sure not to put anything other than 161s in your dash. They are hard to find, as they are a low wattage.
There are a lot companies that will sell you "direct fit" 194 bulbs to make your dash "brighter", but you will have heat related problems from those bulbs, as they are like twice the wattage of the 161s.
There are a lot of those wedge bulbs taht are all the same physical size and look identical, so be careful.
This only applies to bulbs, as LEDs do not give off any heat.
