    CD player Malfunction

im having touble with my CD player, its Kenwood with the flip down screen, i expect it to be one of the pretty good ones. I dont know much about it or what model it is b/c when i bought the car it was already installed. The problem is when i insert a CD it sounds like its trying to read it but then spits it right back out. Ive tryed cleaning it and everything but it still wont work, this just started happening about 2 months ago and before it worked perfectly. Do you think there is anything i can do to it or is it just time to get a new one???

Does it always do it or just sometimes? Is it certain cds or all? The model number should be printed somewhere on the face. Once you have it you might be able to tell how old it is. You can pay to have it repaired if you really like it but it might get expensive.

Probably your CD player is rejecting the CD. The lens is the problem. Get someone adjust the lens speed.

you porbably should buy a new cd player, because its more than likely the lens went bad.
