    can't get antenna cable out of radio

    Is their a trick to this? I'm pulling my stock monsoon unit I can't get the antenna cable out of the back of the radio. Am I missing something? I don't wanna break anything and I've been pulling my ass off.

    another important factor is the order of the cuss words as you're pulling. I've also found that if I invent a cuss word that helps too.....just start pulling and throw 2 cuss words together that you normally wouldn't hear.


    On a serious note......just keep after it. They can be a pain for the simple fact that you don't think they should be that big of a pain. I've used needle nose before too and pulled and twisted at the same time.

    lol. maybe he hasn't yelled the right combination of 2 words to release the locking mechanism. GM created a 10 sets of different words. I had to use some pliers to get the antenna out. Depending on the radio if you are putting one you will need an adapter that goes from small plug to big plug.

    Left, right, up, down, twist counter clockwise/counterwise. It'll come out. Make sure to grab the metal part with a pair needle nose or something.
