    Bluetooth Mic

I'm going to be installing a new HU with Bluetooth so I will be hooking up the mic that goes with it so I can talk on the phone hands free. Just wondering where people are mounting them and which way they route the wire so its neat and not seen. If anyone has any pictures or advice it would be greatly appreciated

Test the mic before you mount it. Not all mic's are created equal. I put mine on the drivers side of the rearview mirror and I run the wire under the windshield roofline and down the "A" pillar and inside the dash. Only way I know how to do it neatly.

Mine came with a little plastic clip. I just clipped in where the OBDII connector is under the dash. works well, can't really see it, and obviously just ran the wire there from under the dash.

however, my car doesn't have the OBDII port there, so if you do, you may or may not have room for the Mic there. Or more likely, it may be tricky clipping it on with OBD port in the way? My car was modified at some point for hand controls (we think) and they ripped out that bracket for the OBDII port, so mine just hangs around back there.
