Camaro or TA? You can buy an adaptor to make the steering wheel controls work with most headunits.

For the headunit pick one that you like the layout and how the controls function. Front and rear are 6.5" speakers. I have put in Polk coaxials and are very happy with them. If you get a stealthbox with a sub and amp for the driverside rear that will give you a nice sound all around. Most people just leave the rear speakers in the hatch disconnected.

yeah...you can get a steering wheel adapter. Just be sure to make sure your HU is compatable. Crutchfield is a good place to do some research for stuff like that. I put a Kenwood HU in my truck that let me keep my steering wheel controls.

jl audio speakers are nice. you can pick your price with different series. pioneer headunits are good for the money. alpine is another good choice.
