any delco stereo fit in camaro?

I'm looking for a stock GM/Delco CD player that will fit in my camaro and will be cheap (might find one at the junk yard or something maybe)

how do i know if it will fit in my camaro?

for example, my father's silverado is a 2000 and it appears to have the same CD player as the camaro versions, but would it fit?

Yes it will fit. Any one from a gm that is din and 1/2 will work. Just don't get a pontiac one since they have orange/red lighting. There are sites online that sell refurbished ones.

your fathers truck has plastic brackets that snap in and will not work for your car since it has brackets that are bent out of the chassis for screws.
