    antenna

    ok so i put in an aftermarket H/U yesterday and everything works fine except the antenna hook up is different as you know, so i went out today and bought one the adapters for it. it seems like its working cuz im getting some signal as yesterday i wasnt getting anything, but my problem is that the antenna will not go up and down! anyone know why or how you fix this problem? and it worked fine before i took the stock unit out....

    well i just ended up using the remote wire and hooking it to the power antenna wire since all it is is another power wire. just realized my brand new headunit does not have a power antenna wire coming from the plug.... so im just gonna put it a switch and mount it somewhere but i dont wanna drill any holes in anything...

    you could use a just connect it to any existing ignition only power wire, it would stay up even if the hu was off or on a cd but it would be a lot easier than a switch

    yea i just ended up using the remote wire cuz i dont have a amp in there at the moment, so when i power the hu off the anntena will go down but otherwise itll stay up, thanks tho
