Another window problem

I rolled both of my windows down and drove to class and my drivers side window is stuck down. my passenger side goes up and down... i bought a motor and replaced it......but its not working....could it be the switch.....because when i push down it wont try and roll down or up

i had this happen to my gf just yesterday, for her it was the switch it was not making contact we took it apart tok the button off cleaned the contacts ont he switched made sure everythign was connected up tried at and Boom it worked..

ya i was lucky enough to get a switch from a junkyard and it worked i might try cleaning my old one if this one goes out what did you use to clean it with?

Definitely a jink yard part. I made the mstake of buying a new switch. $40.

hahaha thats how much he charged me...lol but i got the whole unit....
