Adding Bass to an 06 GTO
Hey all, just wondering if its possible to toss some bass into my 06 Goat. What Id ultimately like to do is drop an MP3 capable head unit into the dash, toss some form of sub in the trunk, and still be able to retain all factory functionality of the dashboard LCD and steering wheel controls. Im probably in for some serious disappointment here. Also, Im wondering if anyone can suggest a self contained sub/amp setup...Ive heard so many mixed reviews about the NOS bottle-style sub/amps, but if I can throw one of those in and use the factory deck, I can very much live with that. This is getting a little long, so Ill summarize now...
Can I get some extra bump without going into the dashboard? Is there an amp in the back for the factory system that I can tap into for signal? My old car was an 05 Saturn Ion 4DR, and it had serious bump with 2 MTX 10's and a 1200W X-Plod ::200X2@4ohms:: Im just lookin for that extra push that the Blaupunkt doesnt provide.
