6x9's in Trunk Divider

Anybody ever mounted 6x9" speakers in the thing that divides the trunk from the cabin?

I have a Rockford Fosgate set of 6x9's back there and it sounds pretty good; had to port it some to get it to work though. All I have in the car is a set of RF components in the door and these but I deleted the tweeters from the 6x9's because they were just obnoxious back there so that really gives the system a front-high balance.

Any other lightweight alternatives for big bass and nice qualities?

do you have any pics? I would be interested in seeing what you did. I know I made the mistake of thinking I could get 6x9s in the rear side areas. I ended up returning the speakers for a set of 4"s.

It seems like a good idea if you want more speakers in the car and don't have a sub-thump style box, and if it never panned out or didn't work the way you liked, you could always hit up the junkyard for a new panel as they're pretty cheap to pick up used.
