    Targa Top Pre-Order Thread...

This thread is not for discussion of the product, there is a thread you can do that in here...

    http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...34#post2218334

We are extremely close to being able to take orders and ship these but to make it go quicker we need to know how much GENUINE interest there are in the different products so we can start stocking up.

Here's what we're talking about for those that don't know (these aren't finished pics, just production and test fit pics)...

McNord designed it so that it would resemble the New Camaro...

...but flow with our cars (down to the U channel for the rain channel)...

He took a roof I sent him, made an awesome design, turned it into a plug, turned the plug into a mold and just sent me pics of our first PRODUCTION top !!!

Hardware isn't attached yet but you get the idea. I just got these from McNord minutes ago and couldn't wait to post.

Ok, so here's the prices and break down...

PURE CARBON FIBER TOP WITH HARDWARE ATTACHED (so you simply unscrew your center t-top bracket, screw our targa bracket on and latch in place the same way your factory t-tops do) NO CORE CHARGE (so basically you just buy this and it is ready to go, no hidden fees AND you can keep your factory t-tops or sell them if you want)... $900 SHIPPED

PURE CARBON FIBER TOP WITHOUT HARDWARE ATTACHED (so you simply unscrew your center t-top bracket, screw our targa bracket on BUT you will need to break your factory t-tops, scrape the glued on glass off the bracket and glue the bracket onto the targa)...$750 SHIPPED

FIBERGLASS TOP WITH HARDWARE ATTACHED (so you simply unscrew your center t-top bracket, screw our targa bracket on and latch in place the same way your factory t-tops do) NO CORE CHARGE (so basically you just buy this and it is ready to go, no hidden fees AND you can keep your factory t-tops or sell them if you want)... $650 SHIPPED

FIBERGLASS TOP WITHOUT HARDWARE ATTACHED (so you simply unscrew your center t-top bracket, screw our targa bracket on BUT you will need to break your factory t-tops, scrape the glued on glass off the bracket and glue the bracket onto the targa)...$500 SHIPPED

ALSO, if you want you can always PAY FOR THE TOP WITHOUT HARDWARE, mail us your t-tops (busted or otherwise) and we can install your hardware on to the top (for an extra $20 to cover the glue) and mail it to you all installed and ready to go.

Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FIBERGLASS VERSION. THE CF VERSION IS NOT ANY STRONGER, IT IS PURE CF BUT IT IS JUST FOR LOOKS, NO REAL ADDED STRENGTH (our strength comes in our bracket setup).

SO, this thread is for people who are READY TO PAY (possibly this Friday, definitely by next Friday) to post that they are ready to pay and what version they'd be interested in so we can gear up (get in the hardware and supplies).

Turnaround just depends on how many orders come in but I think it should be around 1-2 weeks normally.

    Who's in?

    2000 SLP CAMARO SS

I think I am interested but I need to see more clear pictures of what the final product is going to look like on the car. Top, front and side pictures of both the CF and Fiberglass models on a red SS would be nice if possible.

    Thanks.

Would you be interested in a piece with or without hardware? That is our main concern in this thread...

Looks like raw CF. You would either get it covered in headliner material or just stick your t-top shades in...

Yup. We use factory pieces on the sides so the window seals just like it does with t-tops...

A child could remove it. It is half the weight of the t-tops right now...
