they take place of the factory rear end cover and add a good amount of strength to the rear because of the main cap studs and aid in main cap defectlion

Am I looking for problems removing the old cover? Anything gonna come loose or not gonna want to go back in place afterwards? 68k on the car. TIA I'm clueless on this part

Arrest Me Red- 1997 Formula
No problems to encounter. You will want to replace the fluid at the same time. I would also recommend a sealant so the cover does not leak. All in all, a reasonable expense. However, it will only work on the stock diff, the 12 bolt or a 9 inch will have their own version of the girdle.
