    What's missing here?

This is right behind the ABS system and it looks like part of the hose is cut and missing. Looks like the vacuum source for the heater control valve. I looked around but couldn't tell if it hooked to anything...

Hey buddy, It is to the heater control valve. Follow your heater hoses up behind the rear passenger head and it is the botton connection on the right hand side hope this will help you out.

Fixed it last night man. Went right to where you guys said it did. Put a new piece in. I didn't notice it moving the heater control valve though. Thought I had a vacuum leak and that was the source, but it's still got a small shake somewhere in it....

I use a propane torch not lit and move it around the intake an TB and if the engine smooths out or RPM come up you have found your leak, never had a problem with it firing up and it is clean no spraying crap all over the place. Try moving the valve by hand it might be stuck, if not it might be messed up or they cut it because the heater core is leaking. Also if you bought it used the ruff running may be a different cam, we already shake a bit because our cam is the same one out of the 05 Vet, I think, good luck and let us know.

I'll have to get a torch and try it. I found water (very little) in the passenger side front floorboard after I got back from vacation a few weeks ago. Thought maybe it was water from a heavy rain we had. I haven't noticed it running any hotter or losing coolant. The wife drove the car and she thought maybe she didn't shut the door all the way. If it is the heater core how hard are they to change in the GTO's?

Sorry man, Have not had that problem [ knock on wood] don't know, maybe someone will chime in and let you know if that is the problem, but that would be where it would leak.
