Let us know how it works for you Sarge. Im mainly wondering if it will tell the in-dash display to read Traction Off at startup, or if it'll need to be refreshed.
Yes it tells the dash display to reflect the off mode and you can hit the TC button and turn it on....it counts 20 seconds after you turn the key on and turns traction control off.....this allows the "system check" then it turn TC off......

I have stability control on my Volvo truck, I hate it....nothing like hauling 80,000 lbs and having it decide to lockup the trailer brakes around a mild turn

OK...got the thing in the mail....instructions with it... so no pics from me...very detailed instruction I may add.....10 minutes start to finish....Easy as hell....phillips screwdriver for one screw and a pair of pliers to crimp the connectors....installed it less than 10 minutes....
start the car...in 20 seconds the traction control goes off....says so on the DIC.....push the T/C button it comes back on.....so what you have done is made T/C Off for default......Sorry to be so simplified but it is.....Works great...cheap....makes T/C off by default and you keep all the functionality of T/C....Do not know what else to say frankly...I highly recommend it as it should have come this way from the factory....

I'm part of the 1%. I joined up in '02 before John took it over in '03

I'll probably get this also as I've done the same thing as you when tuning. Even forgot it once trying to do a burnout at the track....

my only complaint would be that it takes 20 seconds to switch... whenever i start my car, that button is the first thing i reach for. if the switch is gonna take 20 seconds to turn TCS off, by then i woulda already pressed the button.
