ticking noise
I noticed today that I have a ticking noise when my gto idles. From my experience, that usually means you need to tighten the rockers or you have a lifter going bad. Anybody have this occur? I just recently change the oil so I know it isn't that.

Do the injectors tick on the LS1? Sometimes a little thicker oil will quiet an engine down.

I asked my GM tech and he stated that it is cam related and that it is totally normal. He said that I was one of about 20,000 people that have asked him about it with both the LS1 and LS2.
