Starting issue on an 04 GTO when cold?

Im not quite sure what may be causing this and the dealer somehow forgets to check this each time I drop it off

When the engine is hot it will start fine. You turn the key and it fires right up smoothly

When its cold however it take a couple extra seconds to start and theres sort of a clunking I can feel when it starts. A few times it wouldnt start at all on the first turn and I had to try again. Dirty fuel injectors maybe?

It has 23,000 on it now and I bought it back in February with 20,000 miles. (I know I dont drive a lot)

Its the automatic transmission as well if it makes a difference.
Im just worried about any repairs after the 3/36 ends in December

could be dirty injectors but I doubt it unless you use horrible gas
not really sure what it is,but mine starts everytime with the Optima battery
it could actually be your battery and nothing wrong with the mechanical goodies

Check your battery voltage in the DIC. Hold menu and set buttons then turn the key to the on position (not started) and scroll using the menu key til you get to batt. voltage. Mine reads 12.4v.

I tried it out and it read 12.2 volts so I guess it checks out ok
Its actually been running fine for the last week or so

I think it may actually be related to a bottle of fuel injector cleaner that I put in the tank. After I refilled it with 93 octane only again its been running ok

The inj. cleaner would not cause this and this sounds odd especially not throwing a cel.

Your voltage for your battery should read 12.5v-14.5v. Anything lower means that the battery is being drained. 12.2v probably means your battery needs to be charged back up. Take it to AutoZone and have them carge it up for you. It is a free service. That should do the trick. My GOAT had some problems starting and it turned out that the battery was low on charge so I had it charged and everything worked perfectly.

It reads 12.2 in the on position, then jumps to 14.2 or 14.4 when I start it. I havent tried charging it yet though
