Shifter problems
Well I have a problem with my Hurst shifter sometimes its tight and doesnt move and the spring back motion is working!! Now its really loose in the gears i can move the stick, its def not tight!! Then when i put it in neutral it doesnt spring back or anything it stays where i pull it out!! Its very wierd it still shift its just loose and doesnt spring back! Im setup to take it to my mechanic monday to let him look at it, I was hopin some of you would have some ideas what it might be. I just installed the shifter in Decemeber and it has less then 2,000 miles on it!!

Frankly there has been so many issues with the Hurst shifter I do not even now where to begin. You can Google and just read for a year.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Did you install the shifter yourself? And did you grease the nylon cup that goes into the shifter rail in the transmission?
