It needs to be programmed and so far, only one guy does it. www.gtoshiftlight.com will do it for you.

I had Chris, the guy who does it, program my whole cluster. It's awesome. He changed my needles to red ones for me. Hubby has changing needles: white, to light blue, to dark blue (with speed).
Chris is great at what he does.
He's going to do my 05 when we get it all finished and ready.

You will need to send in the gauge cluster (comes out in a few minutes). He will have it about 2 days (with shipping time being around 2 days) so you will need to find something to drive for those couple of days.
Behind the steering wheel you can take the whole cluster out, not the computer. He can change the face color, shift lights, needles, and the lcd's if you want. He can also do the radio face so it's not green too.
He is awesome, a pretty nice guy too. Check out his website, it gives you the links and the instructions on what to do and where to send it.

Or you can do what I did and have him meet up with you. He will fly out to anywhere if enough people are doing it. I drove to Delaware to have it done along with about 25 others. He just does it in the car that way, nothing has to be taken out. Plugs in, programs it, and you are done.
