Roof spoiler

Installed my Chinese made roof spoiler and have to admit it looks pretty good and well worth the price. Painted it was $60 + $28 shipping from Taiwan. The paint is a dead on match.

It was the Holden factory option not available in the US.

Yeah the two rows that came on it were not 3M, some Chinese imitation, so I put a third row of 3M between the ones that were on it. I mounted it as close to the roof as possible, it's partially sitting on rubber trim. Some people have had problems getting it to stick on the rubber, my thought is because of wax ... so I used 3M adhesive remover to clean it then wiped it down with isopropyl alcohol. It stuck just fine.

Nice looking GTO. As most folks, I don't recall seeing a GTO with a sun roof. Neat option!

Hrm, maybe it was deleted but yes........as a dealer option you could get a sun roof and yes I have seen them in person. Just like in 2005 there WERE some ordered with the hood from the 04 without the fake hood scoops. It I remember correctly there were something like 17 of them. Pretty rare, but again the sun roof was a dealer option but it wasnt listed. At Carlisle I saw a few and over on another GTO board you will find information about it.
