RollBar Install
Wanted to tie the rear end all together....and a little extra safety ain't bad....don't give a shit about NHRA compliance etc. Doing it to tie the rear end up and stiffen things up.......but ordered this today from Jim Gravana...

I'll install it and take a pics if anybody is interested. I know I'll have to take the passenger seat and rear seats out to do it but that aint no biggie. Guy has one running around Dallas....definetly was well built and the underside brackets are nice and stout.
I know I have to disconnect the battery before removing the front seats or I'll set off the air bag doohickey and only the dealer can reset it.....so I beat you too it

Might as well do a rear-seat delete operation since that crossbar is going to make it pretty much unusable.

I never use them now...but the rear seat delete looks cheap as hell and I already have the weight down to a BMW M3 weight so deleting the seats isnt going to buy me anything. Crossbar unbolts anyway if one of the grandkids wanted to ride back there....

A roll cage ?? Thats interesting. Are you contemplating oval or circuit racing??
Or maybe going 10 seconds.

I don't know sarge, if this writeup is as indepth as your front suspension fix you might just make me feel confedent enough to do one for myself. your better than a video with step by step instructions sarge!

Well....we all share...makes things easier for folks....I'm just doing a roll bar to stiffen up the rear....and some safety of course.....when I get it I'll do a pic/write up....run high 10's and get kicked off the track from time to time...this may keep the peckerheads off my ass...I'll also install a harness once I have the bar.....

Thats what I thought. The drag strip police were after you. Oh well, the cage will stiffen the body and improve performance for any type of racing. Looking forward to hearing from you when you get the cage
