riddle me this....header question.
I see certain shops recommending 2 front and 1 rear O2 extension with 05-06 pacesetter LT's. If you're getting pacesetter LT's you're most likely getting pacesetter's mids which don't have cats. What's the point of extending the rear sensor if it's going to throw a code anyhow? I thought, well maybe the mids have bungs in them and people use the sensors to plug the hole. Woudln't it still be much cheaper to get a bung plug or a bolt for that matter?

that's what I'll be doing but is everyone else extending those just to fill the bungs?

I got the pacesetter LT'sand they have a bung for the front O2, but have custom bent pipe from there back. Maybe they have a hole in them just for a wideband....since it is called a (test pipe) without the cat in it, or maybe incase you want to cut and splice a cat in later....
just my 2 cents

that's what I'll do. I'll get the thread size for an O2 and cut a bolt short to put in there. We'll run my wideband in one of them but it's an LM-1 which is a portable unit so he can use the bolt to stick back in there when the wideband isn't there.
He keeps threatening to come over here so we can get online and I can show him what to get and place his order. He's an old bastard like you only he isn't as internet savy as you are. I'll get him hooked up though. He was going to drop it off at Jeg's until I threatened to beat some ben gay off of him. I would like to point out that for the money he'll be saving on the install he could move up to Kook's but he's also cheap like you.
