    rear bumper problem

I just bought a 06 gto and on my way home the piece on the rear bumber that is inbetween my exhaust tips just came off.... the dealer said that he was going to replace it but he cant find that piece but would it matter if it said pontiac instead of GTO.. the one that was on there was a gto one and i told him that i would get back to him on it. What do yall think... what should i do. I have no knowlege to wether the even make a pontiac one. if they do is a cheaper one

My thought would be, you just bought this car and pieces are fallling off....MAKE the dealer get you the GTO piece...If not go higher....A new car shouldnt do that and if it does the dealer should take care of it. Thats how I feel. I would like to think most people would agree with me

the dealer is taking care of it.. but the dealer had asked if he cant find a gto one if a pontiac one would be ok... i didnt know that there was a pontiac one out there..... I was asking what the difference was and what you think i should ask for.

Personally I havent seen the Pontiac one, But in trying to visualize it I think the GTO one would look better, as far as quality goes, I have not a clue....Sorry

My buddy has a Grand Prix with the Pontiac one, dont think it would look good especially considering, doesnt the "06" already say Pontiac on the trunk ?
