    Questions

    1. Had my wife garage my goat for the nasty weather to come while I hunt people in Iraq. Anything I should have her do besides the obvious fuel stabilizer?

    2. Do I need a tune with headers?

    3. Why is obama still president?

    1.) I don't even use fuel stabilizer.

2.) To get the full potential of the headers, a tune would be required. Many run them without a tune just fine though. If you plan to do more mods, it would be better to wait to get it tuned until after you do them.

3.) A presidential term lasts 4 years, and last I checked, it's only year 3 of this one.

Place squares of carpet under the tires to prevent cement from drawing out moisture.

When my friend's wife puts her 66 Tempest away for the winter, she puts it on jackstands all around and takes the tires off and puts the battery on a charger set to slow charge.

Relieves the stress on the suspension and prevents flat-spotting of the tires. She removes the battery to avoid corrosion build up on the cables. She then puts the battery on a slow charge.

Bushings could rot. That I do know of. I have heard of some GTOs having what is called "spring sag" but I haven't heard of it happening while in storage. It's owner preference I guess. I think it's also a way of extending the lifespan of the shocks and struts if the car isn't driven daily.
