    Are Predator Tuners good??

Just found a great deal on one. My question is, are they any good for a otherwise stock (except Volant CAI) 05 GTO M6? Id rather spend the cash elsewhere if they arent that great. And if it is what can I expect to see in any gains?

    Thanks.

they are good if you dont have many mods such as your case, if you found it for a good deal id pick it up and if it doesnt meet your expectations you could always just resell it

A tune from frost would yield more and be cheaper IMO

I have one I got for $150 and then used it for dyno tune at local shop supported by Diablo. The dyno cost me $200, so less than the cost of new a new hand held I have a cruising around setting and a race setting.

You can get a custom tune file from Diablo if mods exceed the hand held.

LS1 and HP Tuners require more time than I have as far analysis and smoothing all the cells.

But I will say this - if I get a cam, heads and long tubes I'll probably good with HP because of capabilities...

Shit I'd get a mail order tune from www.nelsonperformance.com over any hand held tune. Allen got that shit down to a science man. Tell him Sarge sent you and he'll hang up on you.
