poor mach 1 didnt know what hit him
great day! went xmas shopping. on may way home loaded with all the crap I could squeeze into the goat minding my own buisness when I pass a nice looking mach 1 all black polished wheels and sounded great. So I keep going when all the sudden he is right next to me! so I start to slow a little till Im running about 50. he is still there. Being the oblidging guy I am I drop to second and crack my window just a little. sure enough he starts honking it off! Im not a fan at all of street racing however once in a while the schooling just has to happen... so third honk he jumps just a hair as I hammer it and slide it up into drive! within seconds I had 5 cars by the time I hit third he was so far back he gave up. so I slow back to less than ludicris speed to about 65. hear he comes again...honks it off I didnt even get to down shift and still put three cars on him in a couple seconds feeling no reason to be a jerk I let out. saw him at the light he was smiling from ear to ear with a big thumbs up. He told me he had almost all of the bolt ons he could get.. he laughed and said now i see what happened cam huh! I just told him he had a great looking car and it sounded great. I have to admit though I thought he would have done better but i was most happy with the results! another stang runnin off with the tail between its legs!

You stock? He must have been skipping gears or something.

oh don't get me wrong I love the way our cars sound......im running lts and 3" true duals through super 44's on my heads/cam goat......but the hollow rumble the Mustangs have is my favorite tone.......but I would rather my still good sounding exhaust on my Ls1 and get a good hear full of the stang's exhaust as I blow by them

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I dunno. Maybe it's me, but there is something about a built LSx motor that sounds more evil than a Ford motor.
