Perfomance Chips for the 2004 GTO

Does anyone have any recomendations on what performance chips work well with the GTO or is this something that I should steer clear from? Any and all opinions or recomendations would be great. Thanks

I have a diablosport predator, there tune is pretty good it'll open up the car. My tune in there now is a custom tune from diablosport. Tuner who tuned my car uses there software, they wrote the base tune for my car and he tweeked it on the dyno, I like it because it can be used to clear codes and tweeked by me...my .02 worth

I would go get it tuned at a shop that specializes in LS1's. You'll get a lot more out of it for the about the same price. I think Speed Inc is somewhere out that way. It would be money well spent, IMHO.

Just stay away from the snake oil chips. 1) get it tuned by a tuner-2)Get a diablosport predator ( my choice) or a superchips (not a chip) handheld programer.

There are no 'chips' to be replaced on the goats. The ECM has to be reflashed with a new tune. This can be done with the above-mentioned handheld programmers or through software like HPtuners or LS1Edit.

As mentioned, your best bet would be to take your car to a reputable speed shop and have your car tuned on the dyno.
