key off, hold the "MENU" and "SET" buttons while turning key on and you will get the secret menu.
it shows water temp, rpm, and several other screens in the center display in the gauges.

start the car up, and while the "system check" is displayed on the veiw screen push the "menu" and "set" button at the same time and the Optional Setting will pop up, letting you change setting like 1 or 2 button push unlock, auto lock, horn on alarm, radio noise filter and afew others.

after driving for over 2 hours, the alert beep, the words "rest reminder" pop up on the display with a pic of a picinic table and tree.

just a few other neat features our cars have that not everyone knows
hey Mods! there should be a special feature sticky for our cars

Did you know that the 04's have a throttle stop that can be ground down some with a dremel to achieve 100% throttle? According to my predator, before grinding showed 94% with the peddle all the way to the floor. After mod showed 100%. I had already taken the slight amount of slack out of the cable prior to the test.

I didn't believe it when I first read about it but I'm the inquisitive type so I did it.

    Yea better flow but minimal.

Maybe the TPS askes for a little more fuel in too at WOT.

With the 04's, did you know that all accesories come on if you hit the on button.
Cig socket for phone charger and any other items you have hooked upto accessories.

Also if the cars been of a while with the key out, hit the unlock button to power up the power windows instead of putting the key back in.

Get onto australian holden forums and look up VY commodore (4 door version same as the Chevrolet Lumina) for the 04 GTO functions. There's heaps of little odd things

those secret options are cool. However the radio thing is on many cars. My DD '01 focus radio can be turned on without the key and it'll stay on for an hour (has a little countdown too).

use a grinder or dremmel and shave some material off of the throttle stop (aluminum tab on throttle body) till the throttle plate can fully open
