Newbie Needs Help With Tire Wear Problem

    What's up guys,

I am having a problem with tire wear on the front of my 04 GTO. The tires that are on it now are Fuzion ZR1's. Here recently the car started getting alot of road noise. I rotated the tires and it is not as bad but it is still there. It is probably the tires that are on it but just wanted to see if anybody else has had this problem.

Probaly the strut rub problem people are facing. I beleive with a little more positive camber will fix the problem.

Sarge can tell you for sure. I know he corrected this problem.

Actually it acts like a strut problem. I checked for strut rub and I don't see any problem. The tire wear is not even though.

Has anybody tried these Fuzion ZR1's before?

Take it to the dealer. If it is a strut rub problem.... it will be covered under warranty.

After a few more miles look at the inside 1" or so of your fronts. I would bet money you have strutt rub. Extremely common on these cars.

    Nothing special

The excessive tire noise on my developed after the strut 'fix', and I had excessive wear on the inside as well. I would strongly suggest checking the tires for areas where the steel belts could possibly have worn through.

I have checked for the strut rub problem and everything seems to be ok. I am really hoping that the problem is the tires that are on it right now. I am going to go back to the g-force and see if that fixes it. I really appreciate the help everybody.

The front tires are wearing. They are kinda wearing in a wavy pattern, just on the front,on both sides. The belts don't seem to be separating either. I just rotated the tires about a week ago and it helped at first, but it is starting to do it again on the tires that were on the rear.
