My new drag setup..Weld Racing RT-S
Last fall I picked up a set of new Weld Racing RT-S 17x4.5 inch skinnies with the 5x120mm bolt pattern. I ordered them with the high pad height so they clear my Baer calipers with tons of room to spare. They weigh in at 13 lbs.
17x4.5 width
120x5 bolt pattern
2.50 backspace
high pad height
So yesterday I found out that they will be manufacturing the RT-S in a 15x10 in the 120x5 bolt pattern for the GTO.
I called Weld and got a part number 71MB510N75A for the black. It is a new offering for the GTO in addition to the existing 17 inch wheels they came out with last year. They expect to manufacture the first ones in 6-7 weeks.
...so I ordered them today
15x10.08 width
120x5 bolt pattern
7.50 backspace
medium pad height
Here's a few pictures of my skinnies.
... just to check the fit, didn't buy the tires yet.

Do you have pics with the tires mounted and on the car yet?

Weld won't even make there first production run on the 15s for another month and 1/2. The cars also at BSP waiting for my 427 shortblock to be delivered so I couldn't get pics now even if I had the tire mounted. I have a lot of options for tires now with the 15 in the back. 26 or 28 diameter and bias or radial. I'm not sure what I'll need until I do some test runs using my current wheels and see what type of traction I'm getting.
