Mods in :D
Over this past weekend, me and the GTO had some good quality time. Treated her to some TLC (full detail - wash, claybar, wash, 3 coats of zymol, leather conditioner) and...
3.5 inch BMR aluminum driveshaft
BMR Subframe connectors
SLP Bushings
I expected a bit of a difference, but in no way expected the vast improvement in response and tightness it made. It drives like a completely different car. The driveshaft removed all the slack out of the tranny, and the subframes and bushings really allow the suspension to do its job.
Next on the list:
Shifter
Full exhaust (Longtubes, the works)
Nosing around underneath her when we were putting in the driveshaft, it seems that LT's wont be all that difficult of an install. Actually seems to be some workable room underhead, and in the engine bay - very friendly working space.

No kidding.
I'm actually rethinking my LT / exhaust mod intentions...I may not mess with it at all, and instead just concentrate on getting what power I DO have to the ground as efficiently and smoothly as possible. I really do enjoy the way the car sounds stock, though this may change in six months.
But, my primary goal right now is shifting towards eliminating / drastically reducing wheel hop.

Thanks
May sound like blasphemy, but I'm pretty happy with the power output. But like my preference for the stock sounding exhaust, this may (probably) change.
I've had what I've always thought as a backwards approach to modifying my cars. I work from the ground up, making sure the delivery parts can handle my "anticipated" power gains. My opinion is that all the power in the world is useless unless you can put it where it needs to be. So, set a goal for power, then start from the ground up to handle it.
