The ls6(243) are 2.00/1.57 intake and exhaust and if I'm right their 64cc chambers??? vs. the ls1(241) are 1.97?/1.50? intake and exhaust(I'm going to get murdered here for the specs) and with 67cc chambers?? you can gain up to 40hp with just changing the heads to the 243s. But real ls6 heads have the sodium filled valves guess that means a lighter valve train.

If you wanna spend the cash go for it. stock is 1.7 plenty for damn near any aftermarket cam unless your going for something huge.

They use stock rockers on strokers. In other words spend the money elsewhere. Stock 243 are worth about 15rwhp more in stock form.

Valve sizes are the same for both heads (2.00 1.57) except the LS6's are longer and are lighter (sodium filled) Chambers are as you stated 64cc (LS6) 67cc (LS1) Intake ports are 200 cc for LS1 210 for LS6. The LS6 head is basically a tuned up version of the LS1 head and worth about 20 HP on a stock setup.
