Intake queston
I am trying to figure out if it is worth it to buy the new FAST102 intake. I was looking for the FAST92 or even 90 and can not seem to get my hands on one. Problem is for the 102 intake, throttle body, and (apparently I have to buy) fuel rails for the 102 it is about $1700. I have seen some of the FAST92 intake and tb's sell for 850 together. Is is worth it to dish out the cash or just keep searching for the 92 or 90. My plan is to do heads, cam, and intake on the car, not looking to take it to the track or squeeze out another 1/10th of a second on the quarter. I just want a nice power gain and the best bang for the buck.

if I were you i'd stick with the ls6 intake you have until all your other mods are done...but if you feel you are to the point of needing one, more than likely the 92 combo will work great for you...the 102 is made more for larger cube motors like strokers over 400ci

I already have longtubes, I found a ported fast90 that i think im going to go with. I'm doing heads cam and intake all together.

What heads and cam are you going with?
Think its fast now, just wait till you get the goodies bolted in and will really love it!

I have a set of 243 heads that I'm going to have the shop port for me and then I going to have them help me pick out a cam that is best for that set up. I can not wait.

Get about .025-.030" milled off of the 243s to bump your compression up a hair
