Question how to reset after changing oil?

Hi, guys I'm new to the forum & I have a dumb question. I lost my hand book to my '04 GTO & I had the oil changed a week ago. Now the system is telling me to change the oil how do I reset the system?

    1st, read the manual.

2nd, turn the key to on, then press the gas pedal to the floor twice. Then turn the key off.

    Welcome Txcosmos!!!!!
Yup...sometimes you have to press the gas pedal down 3-4 times to get it to work...Like ol Tex sez...turn the key on ( do not start the car...just turn the key on)and within like 5 seconds floor it 3-4 times...
This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.

    Just bustin your balls...

I hated when people would either tell me to search, or go read the manual. That's why I am on this board now.

Don't know if the GTO is the same but on the Camaros you can turn the key to the "On" position and then hold down the trip-meter button for a few seconds until it stars beeping and will reset.
